If you only have 5 weeks, you may be better going to John Lewis not Mothercare!

I had a Silvercross Linear Freeway the Ventura car seat could go on it, but I dont like travel systems, it was ok, but they arent made like they used to and the chassis broke, and the wheel fell off the borrowed chassis!

Through my whole pregnancy I refused to even look at a bugaboo and was leant one while my pram was repaired (as i wanted rear facing) and i loved it so much, we got a refund on the silvercross (with the help of the wonderful staff at John Lewis) and saved to get a Bugaboo, I have had it for 2 months and love it, you can also put a car seat on the frame, the Maxi Cosi Cabrio
Hi yummymummy. I've decided on a Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe. Its suitable from birth (front and back facing) comes with soft carrycot, car seat, car seat base and can apparently be collapsed with one hand. We are picking it up at the end of May so I'm v excited and want to stay playing around with it! I bought it from an independent pram shop and it cost 300 with everything included (the lady threw in a parasol for free) which cheaper than I've seen advertised anywhere else. Its definately worth shopping around.
hi yummymummy, we're buying a pram off my boyfriends sisters friend for 200 - retailed at 600 two years ago.... i havent seen it myself (just the pictures!).

I know it's a Mamas and Papas travel system and its in good condition- good enough for me!
Although saying that, i'm considering this one now... extra 75 for a brand new buggy. loola seem to have really good reviews across the net...(think you can get it cheaper than price given on other websites too)

the loola is supposedly an excellent pushchair. Can have seat facing towards front or rear, umbrella fold, car seat compatable.
yummymum you've got me started again!

I've now fallen in love with this pram...

(i like all the colours it comes in too - incl the polka dots!)

Only problem is you have to buy the car seat separelty which will set you back another 100 in order to make it a travel system...

Might see what my fella thinks...
I wanted a Pliko from the second I knew i was pregnant, went to buy it at 19 weeks and found out it wasnt rear facing and walked out of the shop and cried lol, from my post above, i didnt buy the Pliko, love the new colours though!
I had a Mamas & Papas pram for my eldest (now 17) and it broke after a few months..

When I had my third 7 years later I thought they may have improved so bought a lightweight M&P buggy for travelling. Lo and behold the handles bent! I wasn't doing anything abnormal with it..it was just flimsy,in fact just as flimsy as the first one I had (think it was called the Caravel). They have always been very attractive prams, but I don't think you get much for your money.

I hope they have improved since then, lol.

I had a Bebe Confort system, Nat...it was great :o)
pippa, the M&P buggies / strollers havnt been good recently but this tends to be the lower priced buggys like the aria.

I have an old Pliko travel system 2 years old. It was bought as a 2nd system for the grandparents but I ended up using it more than they did and letting them have the large M&P ultima instead.
The first pram I had was the higer end of the market..darned expensive for the day..lol. It was a pushchair and separate carrycot. The second one I bought was the very first Pliko, I think.

I have a couple of friends with the pramette and they love it. Their babies are still small so I reserve judgement ;o)

it does look a cool pram though!
the pramette does look nice Pippa, i agree with you there.

My pliko is still going strong and is to be used by my nephews girlfriend this summer for her impending arrival.
I just found this..it is a lot like the one I had 17 years ago, with a few updated bits!

If I had my time again Id have the nats first toys are us link. Umbrella fold so compact. Does the car seat clip on the push chair. or the frame. My sister had a prob with the Quinny as you gould not put the push chair on and use the car seat so you were restricted to carry cot or car seat clip on. Once the pushchair bit was assembled on the frame you cound no longer use the car seat or carry cot. Seemed a bit odd to me. I like the idea of front or rear facing.
I have got a loola pram and the bebe comfort car seat to go with it. I love it. You can have it front or rear facing and it folds up so easily and so small. I also like the idea that you can take just the frame and the car seat if you are just nipping out rather than having to take everything. I am only due in October but I had this delvered to my mother in laws last week as I know I will not change my mind. All I have to do now is learn to steer it!!
