34. Adra Spain (anag of sprain ada)
Question Author
Thank you Ont-ice,I am not sure how to phrase this, but is Adra in Spain,if so I do not think this is the right answer, because all the other anagrams have been just the town.I hope you prove me wrong!!!!!! as then I will have another answer.
marycroft. Go with teacher's answer - it's the better anagram even though it (the anagram) fits both locations.

Thank you teacher1 .I feel ungrateful Ont-ice but please do not take offence. Thanks
My Goodness! Certainly no offence taken. Not to worry.

Thank you very much Ont-ice.
I could guess Singapore for 18, but don't know why except that to express joy by voice is to sing and opera is also singing. Sing + apore (anag of opera). But I can't tie that to 'reverse nothing.'
Mary. I now see the Singapore answer.
Sing is anag or reverse of sign (symbol) and opera is expressing joy by voice. I think.
Question Author
Thank you very much Ont-ice,you are helping me along very nicely.
Mary I was working on 17 at the same time and so gave you a bum steer re 18 as there is no 'sing' involved with it, but I still think it's Singapore, but not for the reason I gave you.
Ont-ice, nothing to do with this quiz, but how did you know it was my birthday
That's a question you'll have to ask your little sister. I'm not telling. :-)
Back to SPRAIN ADA Q34, the answer to Q33 is DARWIN (North Australia) and Q35 is PALEMBANG (Indonesia) so I presume Q34 is in that area, Crete is too far away,
however in Borneo there is SAMARINDA which would be correct if the P in SPRAIN ADA was an M, any thoughts, this quiz does follow a round the world route, the same thing applies to Q18 which should be in the south of North America Q15 is Mexico City, Q19 is Las Vegas
Ont-ice, get your note book out, her's is 3rd November, the big 60, that will teach her
Question Author
hello burgess,I have seen it somewhere that it is definitely SPRAINADA.
Marycroft,
I put that note after speaking to the compiler, but I'm not sure she is correct, I may speak to her again
Question Author
Thank you burgess3334 I await the outcome.

Mary
, I have spoken to the compiler but cant get a definite answer to the querie over Q34. She did say her atlas was worn in some places, and she may have misread one of the letters in the name. But she will not confirm my suggestion of the place name(below)
There is a place in Borneo(not too far for the route)called SAMARINDA, this has all the letters of SPRAIN ADA if you change the P to M, any thoughts? By the way what do you have for Q76 and Q92?
Question Author
Hello burgess3334 I think samarinda must be right. 92. Scrabster (scotland) I still need 17..18..and 76.
