Good Morning. This is rogerr (Barbara). I have set the link words today
and will continue to do so throughout the month of February. The four words to
have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am and you are invited to
predict the missing links and "Face the Music"

Most of you know the rules better than I, but recall that I have followed the
same rule as crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words
contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this
range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm when
crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules of
awarding points that have been applied during January.

My effort for today is:-

Bell buoy
Drum beat
Horn rimmed
Organ gallery
Word from the Caribbean is that the Ont-suns are doing OKAY man. This morning for breakfast Mr Ont asked for BEER-CAN - that is "a BEER-CAN sandwich".

They are coping with travelling from -40 to +40 Centigrade within 24 hours and make the following predictions:

Bell- ADONNA
SNARE Drum
CAPE Horn
Organ DONOR

They wish that we were all over there!

Hi crofter--I wish we were ALL THERE too!
Hiya rogerr - I have another for you in that the patchett's have made contact and predict the following:

Bell TOWER
KETTLE Drum
Horn CASTLE
Organ GRINDER

Very nice choices - but what will come out of the sealed envelope of rogerr? Tune in to AB tomorrow at 7.00pm to find out!

This express courier service is available to you all!
Yawn..shiver... Must have fallen asleep in the shrubbery... I've dragged my sorry "bun" back from the depths of Devon. My thanks to crofter for enabling me to take part last weekend and thereby get my first point - yay!

My attempt today is as follows:

Division BELL
Kettle DRUM
Hunting HORN
ORGAN donor

Good luck to one and all

For "express courier service" read two dodgy pidgeons with no sense of direction". ;o)

Lest anarchy rule...can I substitute Drum Major for Drum Majorette?
Just can't count!
crofter, the Ont-suns should be glad they were nowhere near the shrubbery last night. It was an absolute disgrace. Poor Elspeth wants to know how to find it but I shall have to leave it to someone else to tell her - she sounds far too nice for the scrum! My head is still throbbing!! :O)
rogerr - are they Walter Pidgeons?!! :O)
Question Author
Slaney--just this once the Queen says it's OK
Dustybun--I think they are called Gert and Daisy--Walter is their brother--fame went to his head so he gave up the family courier business. ;o) B
Question Author
Dustybun--I hereby declare you lady in waiting in charge of the shrubbery, for the next two weeks. We must have some order in there--although it won't be as much fun!
;o) B
Only just got in..and Reg wants me to post his. (the other half!)
Have not checked if all answers are identical with somebody elses..there are too many!

So Reg Ward guesses..
LIBERTY Bell
DrumBEAT
Organ TUNER
HornLESS

Hope these are okay...yes well!
Rogerr - You couldn't...you wouldn't .....surely not....or would you? Oh dear! ....I have a horrible feeling that whatever I do I'm going to feel even more of a fool than usual on Sunday night. So I might as well get the humiliating decision over:
Tinkerbell
Drum brakes
Post horn
Organ failure
Alarm bell
bass drum
cream horn
barrel organ
Question Author
Good morning all.
I trust we are more sober today!
Kettledrum--you will have to wait and see!

That's great to hear evsajo! Told you, you'd enjoy it! Did you know somebody suggested to your big brother not to tell you about the error in first lot of answers, as you were already in the lead! Terrible isn't it? Go back and see!!!
