Well apart from the fact the stuff they sell is tat and the so-called "high st. price" is well inflated if you actually look at the small print that comes up occasionally you'll see that the phone number you have to call to bid on the items cost �1 per minute....so you either pay a fortune in call charges staying on the line bidding the smallest amount to get you Objet D'art for as little as possible or you jump in at the start with a high bid (paying too much more than likely) and save on the phone call.....either way you pays your money and you gets taken to the cleaners.
I don't know whether this is relevant but I'll tell you anyway. Internet auctions (ebay,etc) charge a modest listing fee(15p-�2) and commission (1.75 - 5.25%) based on the final selling price. The seller pays these charges.
