I thought of BOFFO - it's slang, normally used of a performance (possibly a diminuition of box office), but I'm sure I've heard Aussies use it of games.

Don't know if it helps - cant see it linking to the first part.

But, with regard to the Combo suggestion, how about this definition:
Australian Slang. a white man living with Aborigines or having an Aborigine wife, usually in a common-law marriage.

That gives you a throroughly Australian pair.

I think it might be Goodo - found it in Chambers, meaning thoroughly (Aus)
