Can you reccommend a good Chiminea? Since my dad's wife has banned him from lighting the fire in the living room, we want him to have a chiminea to satisfy his pyromaniacal needs.
thanks

For the life of me I cannot take this post seriously.
He has my sympathies, I love to see flames! The original clay ones obviously can break, plus they have been known to crack in the frost. (they do originate in a hot country).
So I would go for a cast iron one like mine!
Hope he enjoys it.
Try Wilkinsons and make sure its cast iron..failing that search the web ..many do them and they are fun! Ive had many happy hours hunting for things to burn in mine!!

Thanks for your answers, I will rephrase my question a little less glibly. My dad's wife has stopped him using the fireplace in the living room as they have just had it done up and she doesn't like the dust getting on the carpet.
My dad, being of a certain age likes to light a fire, so as he can't do it indoors anymore we want to get him a chiminea so he can have a fire on the patio instead.

It seems the iron ones are the best as I have had other people tell me that the clay ones break easily.

thanks
