I keep pleading for this website to be removed, because I consider it cheating. OK we don't have to refer to it, but as long as the website exists, others will. Please, please, please, do not post the answers to a Christmas Crossword if one appears next Sunday, so that the real crossword addicts can enjoy trying to use their brains, with the traditional help from the very friendly AB users ,if necessary for the odd missing clue.Think how much more the money would mean to the winner if they won through their own resourcefulness, not because they referred to the website. I am not a Scrooge, I just want to be able to enjoy solving a crossword without being tempted to look at the answers!
only cheating if you copy direct, nice to be able be check your answers though. As you say you do not have to go to the site, if the site owners wish to post answers to christmas crosswords that is up to them just ignore the site if you do not want the answers. It is not as if the site is a pop up that covers your screen and you have to see the answers. what is your problem? Is it that you know they are there so have to peek?

Now ! Now ! No arguing. It's Xmas time. Good will to all mankind.
No, it's the fact that I've been used to waiting until a competition has closed to find the answers.Waiting to see if your entry was correct was all part of the process of entering a competition. I also enjoy being able to ask fellow compers the odd question that I'm stuck on, and thinking that they were clever to find the answer. I just don't want answers at the click of a button, because it spoils our pleasure.OK, so you and the person who writes the answers think otherwise, but at a time of peace and goodwill to all, it doesn't do any harm to understand our point of view, just as you and the website compiler are entitled to yours.
A very happy Christmas to you teacher 1, and I mean that sincerely.
I did not know such a site existed - surely no-one can gain satisfaction from just copying answers - especially when they can (when really pulling their hair out) use the Answerbank and generally meet with helpful and polite people. Merry Christmas to "one and all"
