15a Like a photograph that is monochromatic (2,5,3,5) Should answer be "In" or "Is" Black and White?
When doing crossword this morning I put "In" but now having second thoughts and think perhaps that's wrong!!

On the principle that words in the clue are not part of the solution , then IN as opposed to is !
