I am looking for the name of a place I visited some time ago. We had left Fortwilliam and were travelling toward Skye. We came to an inlet of water or a lake (not sure) and there was a small castle built on an with an arched causeway road leading to the shore. Actually it looked like the one shown in the film Highlander. It may possibly have been near a mountain range called the 10 Sisters.

Any ideas

Thanks

it was the one in highlander. And monty python
I think the one used in the Highlander films was Castle Tioran near Ardnamurchan. It\s derelict but a lot was added by computer graphics.
Eilean Donan definitely appeared in Highlander (and Bond film The World is Not Enough), but that is not to say that they didn't use others as well and I know Tioram was used for some scenes.

Incidentally warpig, there are only FIVE SISTERS. Thinking it was 10 was probably wishful thinking!
