shaneystar hope your well, I looked back to find a question from you, have you seen the site on Oct generalist and the one who gave all the answers I sent an email to AB Ed and they were removed but were then put on again, I have just come back on and looked at all the replies, and have sent another email to ED. its ashame for people to spoil things on this site, hope you didn't get floods today was very heavy rain here, I will be coming down to Quidenham in oct is that near you ? happy puzzling will miss the next two W/ends papers with my trip to europe hope its not flooded in Venice looking forward to seeing the sights there

Hi pega ..nice to hear from you and hope you are well too..
Quiddenham is quite a way from us up near Diss.. we are on the coast about 50 miles due east from there in Gorleston !
Yes it is a shame about that thread ..i kept out of it as i would have lost my rag ! There was no need to put those answers up.Just showing off if you ask me to prove a point .
We haven't had much heavy rain today but we had dreadful flash floods way back in August ..so much so that we had water coming through in the kitchen. We now have to have the conservatory roof renewed and the wall at the back of the house rerendered .Unbeknown to us we had a crack in the wall and guttering etc and the water has got it in and seeped right along.Hopefully the insurerers will cough up.
I am just waiting for the builders estimate .Still..worse things happen at sea ! The north end of Great Yarmouth was awash in a couple of feet of water.
