Most probably.

I would.
I really don't know!! I don't think you would know until you're in that situation. I would probably say yes, but whether or not I'd have the courage to go through with it would be a different matter!!!
i think i would too.

I just think if I was stuck up there no-where to go, you'd get that thought in your head that you might survive if you jumped.
the choice dose not bear thinking about.
Don't know if I would have the bottle, it's obviously something you couldn't say unless you were there, but I would be thinking of the poor people who have to clear up my brain from the pavement.

Hopefully, smoke inhalation would get me before I had to make the choice.
I was in New York this time last year..on honeymoon! (I know, strange place and all that..but we wanted to go).

Would you believe it we actually just stumbled upon Ground Zero..we were just walking along and there it was in front of us. Of course we felt we had to go in and see..not that we are ghoulish in any way you understand. This was the day before the anniversary & it was very quiet. I got so emotional I could hardly stand, and Mr P wept like a baby ~ neither of us were prepared for this reaction at all. I went into the church opposite and lit a candle.. then we walked back to 5th Avenue in complete silence.
don't think i'd have the bottle
Obviously, as everyone else has said, you can't really answer unless you're in that situation, but I honestly don't think I could even if I wanted to, I'm that terrified of heights!

god bless those people who did jump, i wouldnt have had the guts to, but as an animal instinct i would have *probably* pushed my way down those stairs.
I have awfuls nightmares about falling great heights, i really dont know what id do. I cant even begin to imagine what it mustve been like for all those thousands of people who were in those buildings. God rest their souls and give strength to those that survived.
I can't say for sure but human instinct is to survive at all costs so I'd probably throw myself out and hope for the best!

I remember crying so hard at seeing the jumpers on 9/11, the desperation they must have felt is unimaginable!
Hate heights, so chances are you wouldn't get me up there (in either the plane or the skyscraper) at all ! Given the situation though, yes I would probably jump.
You have to ask yourself what made these people jump.

Inside was prob a couple of thousand degrees, it could have been a case of go out the window to escape agony or burn to death. I doubt it was much of a decision to jump as such for some people
sick question.
i think it's an interesting question actually. I don't think I'd have the balls. as Natalie said above-hope smoke inhalation got me first. I am sooooooo scared of heights. I get all squemish even watching ohter people at height incl. films.
