Brumas was a baby polar bear as far as I remember

Eels were "babbed " for . Old norfolk dialect . Eel babbing.

I remember it so well!!!! Brumas was a baby polar bear and was the first to have been born at London Zoo. The papers were full of it and in the Spring of 1950 thousands of us (including me!) went to the Zoo to see it. The only view I could get was by sitting on my dad's shoulders! Oh happy days! Wouldn't cause a blink now! :o)
