27D - Move more than one barrow perhaps, bolts securing wheel? (5) ?O?RS
33A - Weedy type diving in that is having gone off the deep end (5) - I think it could be 'irate' what do you think? If it is it would make 27D now read ?OARS

Elderly I see you have got O as the second letter in 27d. I had an A (from 29a) which I previously gave you . I am wondering why the A was changed to O as my solution must be wrong?

No Kay, I think it might be hubby who is wrong. I gave him your answers last night and as he is still unwell he has not changed his xword. I will go and have 'words' with him!! I'm sure you must be right.
Thanks.

kayakamina - did you see quizmonsters answer to 29A? he has 'two up' that is where Clive got his 'o' from. have a look and see QM gave his working out on it and it seems as if he is right.
Thank you .
27D Boars (I've thrown away the bit of paper with the high-number down-clues, so I can't remember the explanation! However, I can assure you the answer is 'boars'.)

33A Irate...rat = weedy type in ie (id est = that is). Irate means having gone off the deep end.
What an idiot I am! You have, of course, printed out the clue above!
Bolts = bars and wheel = a circle = o. A barrow is a castrated boar (obsolete).
