You do not say what the clue is but Amun Ra is an Egyptian Sun God
Question Author
Many thanks kayakamina, the clue is indeed Egyptian Sun God, but I came across variant spellings.
Sadly it could be any of three variant. Amon, Amun and Amen. The Collins dictionaty as Amen as the main spelling. I can't see how to resolve this.
Question Author
I have now looked up info on ' Wikipedia' who give:
Amun (with variants Amon, Amoun, Amen, Imenand, Ammon and Hammon)!
At least those with more than four letters can be discounted.
I'm sure they will accept Amen, Amon or Amun. My dictionary gives Amen as the main spelling with the other 2 as alternatives.
