Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

They can't get that answer ...

The answer is absolutely nothing to do with the question, it's jus a number thought up by someone ...

That way, they can make a fortune by people ringing in with the wrong answer ... because no-one will ever get the right answer from the question posed.

There was a lot of press coverage about this a while ago, trying to get these programs taken off.

They never explain the answer; they just congratulate the "winner" and move swiftly on to another puzzle. I think they owe it to all the people who spent (or rather wasted )75p ringing in thinking they knew the answer. to prove how they arrived at that sum. They seem fond of this kind of puzzle and if they explained how to do it, it would give the game away and they wouldn't be able to use the same format again.

I have seen some of these so called quizzes, and as far as i can tell, they are a con. I take my hat off to the person who devised the format, as they must be raking in vast amounts of money. The questions are, at best obscure, and the answers even more so.
