One or two of you have posted on my previous thread that they have amended the grid but when I log into the site it"s still the same .. all over the shop.I am not as clever as Quizmonkey to be able to work out what goes where without correctly numbered clues.
Can anyone advise ?

Shaney I've just gone to the site and the corrected grid is certainly there together with an apology.
Are you going to;

www.prospect-magazine.co.uk/usr/issues-crossword/524

Good luck K
Shaneystar2 I have had exactly the same problem but JimJools has very kindly emailed me it and I have printed it off. Even the clue numbers within the grid are crystal clear. If you send me an email address I will send it on to you.
shaneystar2 - not sure what is the problem - the amended version is on the site ---

to be sure that you have the amended version at the top of the xword has been written .... This is the corrected version of the crossword grid. Aplologies.

the website address for The prospect is - http://www.prospect-magazine.co.uk/landing_pag e.php
the (as you must have doen in previous months) click onto ' Crossword (PDF) in the menu on the left-hand side - and this leads you to the crossword site at http://www.prospect-magazine.co.uk/usr/issues_ crossword/524.pdf

REMEMBER that seven clues are NOT given, so, for example, there is no clue for 1a , 8a, ...... i.e your Across Clues start with 12a .

Hurry up, I have 4 clues left to do - and, I was hoping to ask you!!

IF all else fails, I can fax it or email to you?

Good Luck
Shaney I will be logging off now but it is worth mentioning that there is only one problem with the old grid and that is at clue 15a. the answer is 5 letters so the sixth space has to blacked out. The puzzle is now symmetrical.
The numbering problems therefore start at the new16a (after the square you have just inked in) The numbers on the old grid are therefore 1 number wrong! As an example the Noel Coward answer must be placed in 29d on the old grid.
The numbers of the actual clues are correct it is the numbers on the grid you have to be careful of. The final clue 48 is 47 on the old one.

Can we pick each others brains? Maybe I can help with one of your 4?
