Well done Shaney!! Big rickets this month. Pity
I went to fill in Noel Coward as Composer of Bitter Sweet which is supposedly 30d but there is no 30d !!! I then looked closer and the whole puzzle is a complete b up.
Did you also notice the RRP of the prize DVD? :)
Oh dear! s it worth me printing it then?
I think they have just switched 29a and 30d clues - I'm not sure which gors where yet though. :-)
Jimjools What about Villa Park 36a ?
I haven't started it yet - but yes I agree with Villa Park Kayakamina.
Sorry Jimjools you misunderstood me . There is no 36a on the grid to take the Villa Park clue. Looks like it is the numbering which is ONE out
Sorry ! Yes I see what you mean. The clue numbers are blurred on my copy and I have put it in 35 (I think). There are a lot of errors now I am looking at it properly. Thats a shame I was looking forward to doing it again. :-)
I have had some fun with this one! So far I have about 50% filled in but whether my guesses are right is a matter of luck.

BTW Well done shaneystar - I was a winner too. Don't remember, or even care, what the prize was, I am just chuffed.

Congratulations to both winners last month. this one's a little tricky - I agree the numbering is out but I also can't figure out what should be after 15a there's enough room for a 13 letter answer - has anyone worked that one out ?
Have contacted the magazine and they say that an amended grid wi be posted on the website later today.
Hope that sorts it allout as the puzzle looks interesting.
We could carry on solving the clues in ther meantime!!
Congrats to both you winners.
Thanks macpark, thats good news.
And I could carry on practising my typing skills

Oops - sorry about all the mistakes

good one macpark !!
It's still totally solvable as it is - with a black pen and some Tippex. Nice theme!

You're teasing Quizmonkey - you must have exceptional eyesight - I can barely read the clue numbers, let alone work out the rest, so good on you if you've finished it !!
You don't need to see the numbers - all the clues are in the correct order, so just use the known sequence to fit them in the grid. I have only blacked out one white cell (in the 5th row) - everything else works just fine.

OK further to that - yes I worked out the answer to my own question re line 5, but I still think the skeleton will be mine !!
I guess being a crossword compiler myself, I know my way round a grid - but it's honestly not that hard. But a few of the words were new ones on me (ozaena!!!).
