8. SNS (8,10,6) I think this is Satellite Navigation System and a typo by the quizmaster. Any better ideas?

D'oh. There I am speculating that the quizmaster made a typo, and I did. The question should read CAR ads.

Are you sure 3. is RGL? If it was RCL it would be remote central locking.

Thanks for taking such an interest horselady. Yes the sheet definitely says RGL. I suppose it might well be a typo - after all, most of these have been googled and put through an acronym finder.

I've been on e-bay for hours looking at cars, that's why I'm appearing clever!! 5. looks as if it should be emergency room, don't think any cars have one of those though!

I saw ER meant Extremely Rare but I wondered if there were any more 'car specific' suggestions.
