Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Are you sure that the 13 is correct? If it was 9 then the next number would be 121 being the next square of a prime number

issy thats the theory i was working on...when it didn't work out i started to come up with all manner of weird combos...not that any of them straightened out in the end. im hoping the '13' is wrong now just so it doesnt drive me insane!

arrymong, don't know if this helps

3*1+1 = 4

3*4+1 = 13

3*8+1 = 25

3*16+1 = 49

Then 3*32+1 = 97

My last response misses out 3*2+1 = 7 which is missing from what would be a pure sequence.

It's done my head in so going out for a pint.
