i am a new suduka fan, but i have finished a puzzle correctly ie 1-9 in all right places but it does not match answer n book.

is there only one way to finish puzzle?

I know that online solutions often say 'this is the only solution' implying that sometimes there are more than one but not sure whether this is just for less complicated puzzles or not...

Michael Mepham boasts that there is only one solution to his Sudoku's but I sent him two different solutions to the same puzzle but never had an answer!

Jan I went on the suduka solver and put in my numbers, it came up with a warning to say there was more than one way to solve the puzzle and it would have to guess..

It returned the same solution as mine not the books.
