I've got Rotherhithe as the first answer, but The Lawn quite defeats me. Any answers?

Thanks

When someone tells you the answer,do you intend to enter the competition? If so ,are you being fair one those who have worked out the answers?

I do this competition. Some weeks I can not work out the answers and so I do not enter.I then find out the answers the next week.

Should I ever win then I will know that I did it without cheating.

Clue: the engineer is Brunel. Which railway station did he build?
I would think Bristol, haven't looked at this yet, but as so many enter chances of winning even with help must be wide old-labour name says it all surely we can help each other a bit and not be so high and mighty.and most people do try and work it out last weeks was very easy but sometimes need a little help from this site which is an answer bank.....
Paddington Station was also one of his works
old labour, what a goody-goody you are. perhaps you should think about going into a monastery/convent?
Well said sincnoel
Tell me about cheating old_labour.

Do I conform to the spirit of the quiz if I look for the answer in a London A to Z Atlas, labouriously leafing my way through its pages?
Or do I "cheat" if I take a shortcut and look on the internet for both answers?
What's the difference between Googling for the answer and asking on AB?
What is Cheating and which of can stand up and say we have not "cheated" over the ST quiz?

I'll help anyone on AB because I know that when the need arises they will help me. That's the logic, pure and simple and moreover it is the ethos of Answerbank.

Paddington Station is good enough for me.
amen to all of that, gumboil!

In my book there is nothing wrong in using reference books or google etc.It would not be too bad to ask to be 'pointed in the right direction'.But just to ask for the answer is what I call cheating.
