I have schwa for 11 ac but wonder about alternative spelling as can only find it spelt this way? Any suggestions.


I have sheave for 5 down but could it be thrave?

"Sheave" means to bind corn into bundles, each one a sheaf, which you then stack into stooks.

Schwa fits (with Cochise) and Chambers confirms meaning.
