I heard the original classical version of a song sung by celtic fans 'hail hail the celts are here' - i think it may be in 'Pirates of Penzance'. can anyone help?

I haven't heard the Celtic song, but it sounds as if it would be "With Cat-Like Tread" from "Pirates of Penzance". The chorus of that song would fit those words.
My Celtic-suppporting colleague hardly dares sing the song in front of us -- so shy, these football fans! -- but, from what we can tell, it is indeed Cat Like Tread from PoP.
