Looking at the relative absence of questions on this site this week - for both Saturday and today - do I assume that it was just SO much easier this week? And that finishing them without recourse to the site proves this?

I certainly found them easier, and have just sent them off.

Herculis must have been easier - I finsihed it with no help and that's very unusual !!

Ridiculously easy - yet another example of DT/ST Xword depts messing us about -mind you, answer to whatever across clue it was (posted mine already) - "fear of death or bodies" - only necrophobia will fit, but this is actually only fear of bodies,; strictly, fear of death is thanato- or thanto-phobia

No offence meant, Big Mac - was only being sarcastically pedantic about DT Xwordmakers! I used Chambers. Much success to you in the future!
