5d Decisive and finally/permanently against evil etc?

I'm assuming the answer must be 'for good and all' but am unfamiliar with it. Anyone know the saying?

for good and all?

If it's any help Spelling Bee, Chambers Dictionary actually quotes the phrases "for good" or "for good and all" meaning permanently; irrevocably - under "good".

Sometimes you are only familiar with a phrase or saying if you happen to come from a certain part of the country.

I just re-read that. Sorry - it sounds a bit patronising. Not intentional.
