Good evening all!
Another year nearly gone!
I managed my fairly regular 'middling' score of FOUR out of seven in the main quiz this week:

There doesn't seem to be a junior quiz this week but, because we were all doing the big four-part annual grown-up's quiz last week, I never posted the link to last week's kids' quiz anyway. So here, a week late, it is for you:

(I scored FOUR out of five).
Happy New Year everyone!

I hope you enjoyed the festive period with the terrific trio.
My scores are 4/7, 5/5
Our Christmas has been lovely and all the more special with days spent with the grandpuppy, who was extremely excited and full of beans morning till night. Quite exhausting, but wonderful all the same.
I hope you and your delightful kitties enjoy a wonderful year ahead and wish you all the best :-)
Welcome to the Eight Club, Haras2! (I never know anthing about football!)
I'm glad that you had a good Christmas. (Mine was quiet but very pleasant).
I hope that you're making an extra big fuss of Shady by way of apology for deserting him. The Troublesome Trio are all fine and currently keeping me company in my bedroom.
All the best to you and Shady for the New Year.
Hi, Jourdain2.
Your mention of the different ways that Scottish mothers do things brought back memories of my college friend, Eric. Every Sunday lunchtime his Glaswegian mother would make Yorkshire Pudding in their home in Elland, Yorkshire. Eric's father, being a traditional Yorkshireman, would have his Yorkshire Pud as a starter, simply served with gravy. Eric though would have it, as most people probably do, as an accompaniment to his roast meat. His mother meanwhile would wait until after the main course had been served and have her Yorkshire Pudding as a dessert, served with custard!
Happy New Year to you, anyway
