Haven’t read the book but saw the TV show. I thought it was excellent. Lesley Manville is quite underestimated as an actress, I think.

I've just seen there is a sequel to the book, Moonflower Murders. Hope the Beeb put it on the box. I agree, Lesley Manville doesn't get the status she deserves. I thought she was great in Mum
