Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Two weeks left to get your answers in. Quiz questions can be downloaded from the FT's webpage. I'm stuck just over half way thru. Anyone care to swap answers?

Hi,

No, after getting stuck two weeks ago, and getting no response from fellow compers, I gave up trying. This will be the first year I've not managed to submit a completed entry. Drat!

I'll help you where I can, but 8c and 18b mean nothing to me. Are we talking about the same quiz?

I've now found my copy.

I hadn't got round to checking out Q8 and Q18b properly. Q8c is almost certainly a 'Flying buttress'. Q18b: the illustration's a familiar one. I've seen it somewhere before, but where? It a new technology (but not telephones). Wireless?

Thanks captainandy. Have now found an illustration which is very similar so flying buttress it is !!

Like you I think the other picture is very familiar, but just can't place it or the technology.

This quiz has certainly inproved my googling search skills :)
