"I’ve noticed that generally the Alphapuzzle clues can be answered simply by entering the clue verbatim into Google. (No doubt Bing and others would also work.) There’s little point in asking for expert help under these circumstances as other beginners can simply do that. "
So I'm not sure there is need for a daily thread.
