5. I don't know this but possibly Sandy Nelson?
No 3 ~ Lady Chatterley's Lover?
Barender - Sandy Nelson played drums, whereas Jet Harris played guitar. (although I don't know the answer either!)

Of course he did and I obviously wasn't thinking was I johnalex?

richmc - you're right about Lady Chatterley's Lover - it was published in 1960, which led to an 'obscenity trial'.

The Small Faces gave their last concert on March 8th 1969, in the Channel Islands.
2 blue hawaii

8 may be sam cooke

i reckon no 7 is the answer to Who recorded telstar

no 6 may be pete townshend (Who)

2. Blue Hawaii

3. Lady Chatterlys Lover

5. Maybe - Jimmy Page

9. 15 Sept 1964

10. Gadaffi overthrew the Goverment in Libya and became leader.

Penguin Books planned to publish Lady Chatterley in 1960, then shelved plans because of the threat of legal action. The case went to court; when it failed Penguin published the book. So I think the answer is Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Gaddafi overthrew the Libyan King Idris in September, 1969, not March. The Small Faces concert was the only remotely interesting music event I can find on that day, though I guess someone (now) famous may have been born then.

Question Author
Small Faces is a TOP answer. The only one that is needed is the famous person who committed suicide in 64. Struggling with that!

I can't find the other thread where you put this question again, rich.

A singer who committed suicide in the 1960s after his wife left him was Michael Holliday, on 29.10.1963
