Died of a blood clot.

Seems as though that there are a lot of blood clot relatated diseases around recently.
Strokes, heart attacks etc....

there have always been a lot of circulatory deaths.
The latest figures i can find (up to 2018) have them as the leading cause of death

Apparently one third of people die from stroke or heart disease, which have been on the increase, worldwide, for the past 30 years. That would be consistent with a ‘better’ lifestyle leading to excess weight from eating junk food and sitting in our cars rather than walking.

Type 2 diabetes also puts sufferers at greater risk of blood clots - as you are well aware the number of diabetics has been rising dramatically.

As populations age and sedentary habits are more common, it will be illnesses like that will carry us off. I think there's nothing unusual about it.

Nailit, before you go down the Covid vaccination route, think about all the advice that was issued about DVT long before Covid existed.
