Dave’s New Game

Dave is now making up stories based on his Wordle guesses. His first two today were Saint and Grope. Can’t tell you his third for fear of spoiling but it’ll be an interesting story.
Could you write a good story with your guesses?

With me being pure, sweet and innocent, I'd probably come up with something like "On my way to Saint Ives, I had to grope around in the back of the car for my atlas" - but I hate to think what Dave might have come up with ;-)

Well he certainly wasn’t groping around for an atlas, Chris. But I would read your story. Like you, being an innocent, it appeals.. :-)

Mrs Dag and I went on a quest to the local pub as we'd had a personality clash, maybe a couple of drinks would put our trust in one another! After a couple of lagers with a twist of lemon, Mrs Dag was up on the table drunkenly singing our granddaughter's favourite tune, Tinkle Winkle, Tipsy, Loolaah...pooh! We got there in the end !

He is being busy enough being embarrassed as I’ve just given him a card to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. He’s now wondering where he can get a card in the next fifteen minutes…..okay….I could have given it to him earlier. ;-)
