I have no idea..but what a lovely word.Reminds me of my dear old Mum ..a cornishwoman born and bred.. who always used to say " The pasties will be ready dreckly my maid "!
Question Author

That's really lovely. Usually when a Cornishman says he'll do something "dreckly", it means if and when he can be bothered or sometime next year.... I know, I married one ;O)

'dreckly' is still used by many Cornish people and certainly means 'any time in the future',

Think the property referred to may be Lanhydrock House.

Question Author

What makes you think it's Lanhydrock? I know it has a huge "below stairs" but I can't find any evidence of a "dreckly express", whatever it may be.
