No mention of it that I can see so far, but I'm interested to know how other aficionados managed to 'get into it' this week. Having visited the bath(s) many years ago, I got there fairly quickly - looked to see if there was a Jacobean house at the appropriate range and bearing, and things started to fall into place. But associating the house with the TV programme wasn't as easy as I'd imagined - watching the closing credits on iPlayer confirmed I'd really got it right. How about you?

I got to it through the credits of the tv program having wrongly chased up the wrong river because it was “flowing southwest”. However, what is the reference to Jupiter?
Question Author
I think the mention of Jupiter is just a 'subtle clue' to one of the two themes used in this week's puzzle. There are a couple of hints to the other theme as well.
I'm pleased to find that Sean Newsom is making these more difficult than when he first took over as setter, even though he has less space at his disposal than Chris Fautley did.

This took me a fair time, although I knew the programme immediately; the direction of the river flow threw me. Also glad that the prizes are getting back to how they used to be!

I was annoyed that my copy of the Christmas Special Radio Times had only recently been taken for recycling and I couldn't see 'at a glance' which programmes the BBC had shown on Boxing Day. However the online Radio Times TV listings allowed me to find a likely candidate (I've never watched any of the programmes in the series), which was set in the right part of the country, but even then the programme details don't mention the Jacobean house. I'm not happy until all the pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place, so I had to use iPlayer to set my mind at rest.
...and it turns out it's a castle :)
The programme’s website has details of the Jacobean house - I found it there.

I've just looked all over the 'Programme website' linked to from iPlayer thinking "Where? I can't see any mention of it..." before realising that Toorak meant the 'official website of [the programme]'. :-)
Well, I am plodding along behind the rest of you, having found the Jacobean House, but with no idea how to progress to the potentate. A nudge would be welcome.

DannytheRed; the puzzle setter says that the potentate's birthday "falls tomorrow". Take the date of the puzzle, apply this condition, and look for famous people born on the resulting day of the year - the one associated with the monument should be easy to spot.
Danny the Red is red with embarrassment and shame. He had entered the date but missed the name, and it was so obvious he shouldn't have needed to search! Many thanks, Etch!
