what plural word can be turned into a singular word by adding an S at the end? Assuming that the word has to have the same meaning in both cases.

I've seen another thread with the similar question but not sure on the answers as if there is only one right answer for this question there seem to be too many different answers!!

Have you actually researched or looked up ANY of the CAB quiz answers for yourself?

Question Author

dear mole,

what is the internet for if not to find answers? Also, isn't the role of an adviser at the cab to be able to use whatever investigative skills and resources available in the quickest most economical way to get to solutions?? What's the point of having a resource such as this exceptional website and not using it? Plus I'm not the only one researching the quiz this way as I have seen other queries from other people!! and you're just 'browsing' yourself presumably??

Dear Brackster.

Sorry I think you wrong for the following reasons. The web master of this exact site said last year he did not think it was an appropriate use of the site. As to the reference to advisers skills I feel the same rules of confidentiality should apply to the quiz as to our clients.Posting the questions here also gives the answer to all those who are searching the internet, what is the point of that? I find more satisfactiion using my own initiative rather than that of others. A quick count says you have posted about 15-20 of the questions here a little more than can be called research. Because others have done it, that does not justify.
