I'm sat here with a lovely cuppa and started wondering : Do any of you think it is the duty of us old-'us to die? If we did we would :
1. free up accommodation and that would ease the housing shortage;
2. release our hard saved money into the economy so that children/grandchildren could waste it;
3. free up hospital beds as we would not need them (after all we would be dead) and they could be used for whatever the younger generation want/need.

That's a start. What do the rest of you think?

they shouldn;t remind you, that's none of their business
Absolutely not! The older generations have easily as much to offer as the younger ones.
If you are referring to covid... my view is also that we shouldn't sacrifice the many, for the possibility of a few. So it depends if that's the real question :-)
why should they have it easy...we didn't!
every life or most, is valuable, let no one say we should jump ship before our time,

I don't consider myself old yet and have a lot more to do and plenty still to give - am staying put for now, :-)
What age do you consider to be old?I am an octogenarian and consider that I still have some use on this planet so no I would not volunteer to die.
