Don't correct anyone. It's rude and makes you look like a bossy-boots, especially if you're a former teacher :)

Could be a full time occupation with some on here ;o)
Depends on what you are correcting. If it's spelling corrections, you are entering a minefield as some can be touchy. But if it's correcting facts, I for one would welcome it.
Factual inaccuracies not spelling or grammar
Some can be touchy, others proximity.

Mines that is.

I would correct a fact, but I try not to be blunt about it, saying 'You're wrong ...' comes over as prissy and superior, I know, there are those on here who do just that.
