I am not familiar with the play or the poems so can only give a suggested generic opening.
You could start by summarising what the essay will cover. Something along the lines of "In this essay I will consider and compare the way emotions are presented in Shakespeare's Othello and the poems X. Y Z (list them) by CAD. In particular I will explore the following strong emotions: . I will then conclude that...

Then get into the main body of the essay- perhaps starting with a paragraph identifying the emotions in Othello.

With respect to Ms Duffy, I'm not sure, even she, would compare her work to that of Shakespeare's.
