James Prinsep was 17 years 245 days old in the match between Clapham Rovers and the Old Etonians in 1879.
Youngest FA Cup final scorer

Football. Norman Whiteside was 18 years 18 days when he scored for Man. United against Brighton in 1983.
Bit odd this - the Guinness Book of records 1990 agrees with Norman Whiteside as the youngest goal scorer in an FA Cup Final but has Paul Allen as the youngest player at 17yrs 256 days when playing in the 1980 FA Cup Final (West Ham v Arsenal).
The A to Z of Sport gives Curtis Weston of Millwall - he came on as a substitute for Dennis Wise in the 2000 final.  He was 17 years 119 days.  The youngest  to score was Norman Whiteside in 1983 Mn.Utd v Brighon.  He was 18 years and 19 days.
