20d Make-up - one carries a tiny bit(7) is ANATOMY. one = AN carries A but where is a tiny bit please?

17. 'Subject matter' is Theme. 'It' is often used in crosswords to mean/equal SA/Sex appeal. SA goes inside Theme - The Sa me.

I always forget about ' it' being' SA' in crosswords. Does anyone really say SA in real life? Was it something from the 1960s?
