I can't see anything wrong with "almost unique", Buenchico; it's the same as "not unique" but with the rider that there might be only a couple of them. Intensifiers like "totally", though... no.

Buenchico is correct about unique. If something is unique, there is only one of it. There cannot be almost only one of something! For "almost unique", read "extremely rare".
