yes, during Saturday afternoons on Radio 5 Live there is a commentary on one match in particular with reports from other games and then the football results follow at 5pm

Yes. It's a long time though since they said "Stoke City 3, Manchester United 1"
A woman who used to be on Radio 4 now reads them, either on Five Live or BBC1

Recently Charlotte Green took over from James Alexander Gordon (there was a bit of BBC hype about her being the first woman to read the football results) and whilst he definitely overdid the inflections I haven't heard her read them yet.

Hi bibblebub. I just meant it was a long time since they had read out the specific result that Tilly mentioned, but it seems the result did happen only eight years ago

i realised that as soon as i hit the submit button but just wait until later this season - Stoke only lost 3-2 at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago
