Interesting. I hadn't thought of ALMOND before, Baldric. However it grows in a tree and I can't see where the Marc comes from.
Blow Monkeys is questionable too though because the clue would have had to say 'these' nuts, and whilst I've heard of Blow Lamp I'm not sure about a blow bottle

I also thought of Lighning Seeds for 50 but while I can see lamp=light and grown in ground= seeds I can't work out the 'Bottle' or 'nut' bit.

Another possible explanation of Blow Monkeys is that lamp and bottle could be being used in the sense of hitting someone. Still doesn't explain why nut (singular) = monkeys (monkey nuts) plural
