does anyone know where today's location is? Have been trying to work this out all day, but have got nowhere.

"Don't be put off by US baloney or freak bad weather: this city, red by ideology and architecture, punches above its weight in science, gastronomy and music. Avoid resembling its nickname by exploring its towers and arcades on foot or municipal bike, then partying with students at a club scene as radical as its politics. Name the city."

Bologna is actually a good answer. The US name for bologna sausage is boloney. The architecture is old and red (It's nickname is 'la Rossa' for its famous red buildings). It has the oldest university in Italy and is famous for its food and culture. The politics are decidedly radical. If the car was a bike then I would say it was because Bologna is the home of Ducati motorcyles.
