Potentially, massive effects.
Your question, however, is a bit vague.
I tend to feel a whole lot better when things are going well, stress levels are down and have something to look forward to. Then, like most of us, I feel mentally and physically rubbish when things look a bit bleak

I agree with JD with the exception of the word 'potential'. The frame of mind has enormous impact on health.
