This is 'Queen Kay' (aka evsajo) here for the final March challenge,
Good Morning all,
As this is my last week of setting the links I decided to write something about my home town (well city actually) which is Lichfield. It is noted for its 3 spired medieval cathedral, and is also the birthplace of Samuel Johnson. Other famous people who have lived here are David Garrick, Erasmus Darwin and Anna Seward. I intended to go further into the history but then on Monday something much more exciting happened so I changed my plan.
I got a ticket to see Barbra Streisand at the O2 arena on June 1st !!! I go to see lots of live singers/bands etc. but I have never been to a really big venue so it will definitely be an experience !! She has been one of my favourite singers for many years and although I have her CDs, I have spent a lot of this week watching her on YouTube and now I just can’t wait !!
Sorry everyone that you didn’t get a full history lesson on Lichfield but it really is a lovely city so why not visit and find out for yourselves?
Tambourine:
You are new and maybe you didn't notice but in this game all answers are from 4 to 8 letters in length.
You will be wasting two of your guesses if you stick with those 3-letter words.
Please post alternatives.
Greetings from LITCHFIELD, South Carolina where it should be somewhere in the middle 20 degrees area and it's more like 15 so the winter clothes are still being worn.
Don't think I've scored much this month but will try:-
