Question 2
... orthodox Roman Catholics - an exclamatory oath in ...

the above clue has to be divided into Three separate clues; there are some letters given for each answer

the clue division seems to be -

Orthodox Roman Catholics answer: Tridentines

- an exclamatory oath answer: '??ODI????

in (this is a homophone for INN) answer: Caravanserai

..........

the apostrophe at the beginning of the answer is definitely confirmed by the Puzzles overall theme answer being a verse from a christmas song)

(PS not sure of the reason for the '-' in the clue, whcih may not be related to the second clue, but to the first clue!)

Any ideas, please ...
