Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Were these UK number ones? I can't see a group who had six although Wham! come close.

I can only think of Oasis. They said that but the timeline is wrong.

I think it must be a fictional band, especially as it's in the TV/film section. I looked at Spinal Tap but they don't seem to fit the criteria

Mojo-jo-jo is right that Oasis said that and they had plenty of number ones but there first one was in 1995

Queen is the only one springing to my mind but I can't imagine Freddie Mercury saying that for some reason!

Queen had no number ones in that time as far as I recall, apart maybe the Best Days of Our Lives/ Bohemian Rhapsody which was in around 1990/91

No. Too early for Spice girls. I would go for Oasis and assume the quiz setter has the dates wrong.

Anyway, my guess is we are looking for a fictional band from a TV show, such as a cartoon band from a children's TV show

theres even a joe diffie had a hit record "bigger than the beatles "in america but i dont think its him
it wont be a mistake in the quiz it well known for setting red herrings and being very tough
