what punishment 4 ABH?

A young 14 year old lad.No previous, from a good family  Throws 1 punch and gets found guilty of ABH Also training to be a youth club leader.waiting for sentancing and report from Youth offending team.Whats he likely to get?Thanks all for any input.

Based on your information & assuming that you haven`t left out any critical details,such as the injuries incurred by the prosecutor. Without these important details it`s only possible to give a rough guess.....you will not be put in a young offenders institution,but you will be asked to make sure that you learn to control your temper in future & maybe you`ll even be put on an anger management course. You may get a suspended sentence,which is ok because if you do not do anything wrong within the given tme limit,you`ll be free. In order to make this a one off take my motto with you,it`s kept me out of prison for 38 years....BITE YOUR LIP AND WALK AWAY....6 words thats all,stuff your pride,stuff your reputation. Do it my way and be free or snap and go to gaol.......choose the right one ok?

I think a good scary talking to from a couple of police men would be good enough. It would seem as though this type of thing is completely out of character and a copper scaring the hell of him for a couple of minutes will make him think twice about ever doing it again! I might be wrong but it worked for my brother.

Due to the age it will either be a suspended sentence or the worst is some community service which is organised by a special group working alongside police for youths.The good thing about this is you are showing remorse and the court feels they have given a punishment albeit the scheme is very lenient and also supportive . The important thing is to plead guilty (if guilty) and show remorse and if there is no previous then the actions of the courts will be light ..........good luck

your aite mate i have already got 2 previous charges of abh and i am now on charge for gbh just because i try showing of in front of my mates, all i gt for abh was a slap on the wrist both times. just after this listen to what the police man say to you dont ignore them like i did cause now im on charge for gbh and i could be going down....
