Good ones taste like chestnuts to me...delicious. I can see why some people don't like them if they have only tasted poor quality sprouts that have been badly cooked though.

Whole raw sprouts, shallots and a sprig of thyme and seasoning. Roast at 180C for 30 mins, giving them a shuggle half way through. Give a squeeze of lemon juice when they come out the oven, lush!
